You joke humor on graduate schools is bullshit. Things like rationalizations of job prospects, pointless research, boredom, anti-social behaviour, pretending you got no job offers is only characterstic of people who developed no really interests and are still stuck trying to find ways to impress other people or compensate for being too stupid to juggle school and social interactions. They arent prepared for hire level work beacuse they are still hung up on stupid low level obsessions with the opposite sex and being accepted which is NOT the people that get into good school, work on useful projects, and therefore have the shitty experiences you talk about. Truely brilliant people can affectively juggle social and school Those people are just unintelligent. So they are still thinking they are impressing other people and not themselves. Stop projecting your shitty experience onto other peopel applying and are independantly excited and won't have the same! experience. You are just trying to unmotivate people into joining your misery boat and keep you company while you regret not experimenting and figuring our life when you had the chance and was holed up in room somewhere shoving books up your ass. You should acnowledge that that list applies to stupid, unadaptable, unmarketable morons who suffer from jealously, depression, and worthlessness because they are uninteresting people, which therefore hae uniteresting studies, which therefore is not funded by anyone, and they should be out at bars learning life instead of going for a title that means nothing. You should acknolwedge that there are exciting competitive grad schools that dont fall into this category. Sorry you and all your fucking stupid friends couldnt get into a good school that is enjoyable and a program that is worth your time.

There are money well funded programs, in good schools that the degree has serious social and economic value that fulfills on such a higher level than the goon in the well paid entry level job. There are people who actually turn down job opportunities post undergrad to go to graduate school. There are programs that provide great job placement, and everything else a person wants. If they are intelligent they can land there. Grad school is just like undergrad, unfortunately most undegrads suck so much ass, especially at good schools, that they are stuck with their stupid undergrad childist priorities. There are us out there who actually dont meet that criteria with projects tha everyone in the world is fascinated by, and is exciting shit that has a MASSIVE payoff when you get that level of exerience, such as robotics. Sorry you faggots jobs and decisions suck ass so your ideas have made a false impression by analyzing the majority at the expense of the minorirty of really smart! people.

Therefore shut the fuck up and stop making broad generalizations. With this information, I'm sure you will understand your mistake. You really should mean "most or some" graduates students. Sorry some peopel dont need to rationalize, so stop projecting your shitty before on other people. It unmotivates them before they even get the opportunity to try it out. For smart interesting people its a no-brain to pursue graduate school, because it fascinate so many people, but its only for the well-rounded motivated people. Fuck you for trying to project your shitty choices by ruining impressions for others. My ideas and skills make me a major anamoly, so fuck off for trying ot give me a false impression which fucks up my application process. As we build our minds on habit, and an environmental asumption is changes, we are aware of it, and making people aware of your bullshit affects them unless the respond back to the environment beacuse I am not in your control , I chased after wha! t is fundamentally cool, therefore cool to most people. So everything you said is false and misrepresents and doesn't effecitvely give advice for the motivated interesting people, who have higher cognitive levels than you bitch.

This is the same gentleman who had offered an earlier posting entitled "Unmotivating." Apparently he failed to take his meds, and quickly went downhill.

In any event, you can always vent at me, if you'd like - but I'm not the one responsible for your happiness. That's up to you, as is the entire graduate school application process. It's a self-motivated and difficult trial, and you've got to take each part of it with vigor and a bit of equanimity.
